Patrick Wylie

Patrick Wylie is the Business Manager at Former Fab, bringing a lifetime of experience in the automated packaging industry and a passion for problem-solving to every project. Born and raised in Houston, Patrick grew up immersed in the world of packaging machinery thanks to his family’s business, Universal Packaging. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work and hands-on expertise, gaining a deep understanding of inventory control, parts sales, shipping, and the mechanics of Vertical Form Fill and Seal (VFFS) machines.

After years of working in his family’s business, Patrick expanded his horizons. At Houston Radar (2013–2017), he honed his organizational skills by managing inventory, streamlining workflows, and ensuring timely production and testing of radar systems. His journey continued at Accu-Fill, where he spent six years traveling the country as a sales representative, mastering a variety of packaging equipment, including combination weighers, conveyors, and pouch machines. Along the way, Patrick developed a reputation for exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and his ability to adapt to the needs of businesses big and small.

Outside of work, Patrick is a person of many passions. A lifelong fan of heavy metal music, he loves playing guitar and exploring new bands. He’s also an avid reader, particularly of sci-fi novels, and enjoys nothing more than getting lost in a captivating story. A movie buff at heart, Patrick makes it a point to see films on the big screen whenever he can. He also loves traveling, discovering new cuisines, and experimenting with cooking at home, often sharing his creations with family and friends.

Patrick’s well-rounded interests and dynamic career make him an invaluable part of the Former Fab team. His deep knowledge of packaging equipment, combined with his commitment to client success, ensures that businesses receive tailored solutions to keep their operations running smoothly. Whether he’s solving a complex machinery issue or helping a client navigate their options, Patrick’s goal is always the same: to deliver exceptional service with expertise and care.
