Dennis Kokkinis

Dennis Kokkinis is a native Texan born and raised in the Energy City. He worked his way through school at the University of Houston pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1984 he realized his career was right in front of him and decided to focus on design and manufacturing of packaging machine tooling and he never looked back. Former Fab, Inc. opened in 2008 and hit the ground running. Shortly after opening the doors and with major clients including Frito Lay expecting orders for their plants nationwide, Houston was hit by Hurricane Ike. Knowing that missing delivery for such a high profile company was not an option and faced with a power outage at his machine shop, he mobilized his team and equipment and completed the order in his home garage. Former Fab was the only company to deliver on time and has internalized that level of commitment to its clients as the vision and mission of the company.

Former Fab is proud to say it’s family owned, and Dennis is a dedicated family man, with a beautiful wife and two wonderful boys. When not hard at work for his clients he’s an avid sailor and golfer and competes in local regattas.
